Sharing pictures on one computer

I want to share pictures between two users on one computer without having to
copy them into the Public picture's area and/or change my default Pictures
location to the Public area.

Photo Gallery and WMP list "share my media" which seems to fit the bill.
Unfortunately it's not working. I don't see any pictures or media from the
other person.

Make sure each user has appropriate permissions for the others folder.

Has UserA added UserB's folders in the respective programs & vice-versa?

Photo Gallery: File -> 'Add Folder to Gallery...'

WMP: Library -> 'Add to Library...' -> Advanced Options -> 'Add' button
