Movie maker after edit problem

I've been trying to do some editing to a VOB file in windows movie maker. I
will split a clip and remove the piece that i want to edit out. When I play
it back to the point where the video is edited it will be a still picture and
the audio will keep playing. Am I doing something wrong??
