Photo Gallery and Media Player, by default, do not recognize MP4 or MOV
files, which is the Apple Quicktime format. You'll need to use a video
converter such as Any Video Converter 2.1.1 ('Overview-Any DVD Converter
for iPod rip DVD movies to iPod, convert DVD movie to iPod video format
MPEG-4 (MP4), play movie on iPod.'
(
http://www.any-video-converter.com/p...or_video_free/)) to
convert them to AVI.
