Digital TV card, sound & vision skipping
Hi, I have a DTV card, DVICO Fusion DVB-Lite, and it was working fine in XP,
but I can't get it to work in Vista without it skipping big chunks of sound
and pictures continuously. I've downloaded and installed the manufacturer's
latest beta drivers for Vista and tried again, but have the same problem.
My machine is an AMD Athlon 64 3200 CPU with a 256 MB graphics card and 1.5
GB memory. I also downloaded and installed the latest ATI drivers for my
ATI Radeon 9600 graphics card, but no luck. Windows Vista Home Premium
upgrade is installed on a "clean" basis. Does anyone have any suggestions
as to what I could try next?

Thanks and regards,
Dweebs

RE: Digital TV card, sound & vision skipping

Have you tried playing DVD using the Media Player? Does it play well with
good quality sound? If it did not, I would suggest you get another graphic
card like NVIDEA. Beta version of drivers may work or not work well. You may
have to wait for the final version of the driver, if you must use that card.
Also, see if the manufacturer has a firmware update on their website.
