Media Player 11 & Vista & external 7.1 speakers

If your Vista and Media Player 11 won't play through your external speakers
and you have a REALTEK sound decoder/driver on your motherboard, try this:
Open the 'Sound' icon and go to the 'Playback' tab. Click on 'Speakers' and
choose 'Properties' to end up at 'Speaker Properties'. Go to the
'Enhancements' tab and then scroll down the list of items in the scroll
window. Tick the box that says "Speaker Fill", and voila! Suddenly everything
works the way it should. Thanks go to Realtek for sorting my problem out. I
hope this helps a lot of unhappy motherboard-based sound driver computer
owners.

Thanks a lot dude. I've been searching for a solution for this since
September, whem I first installed Vista RC1. And it was right in front of my
eyes...

Thanks.
If they labelled the option as "Ext Spk", it may be more obvious to choose
that option.
