HP7750n problems importing composite video
I recently purchased a HP 7750n Vista Premium PC. Media center works fine
but when I try to use the video and audio ports on the front of the PC to
import composite video from my camcorder, I am told to use the muvee
AutoProducer 5.0 program. When I try it fails with the error....
Click Tools, then Get video from camera.
The muvee Video Capture window opens.
NOTE: Certain video capture devices may not be detected by muvee
autoProducer. The following message appears: No camera detected. Please
check that your camera is connected, powered on, and set to Play mode.

I talked to HP and they said yes it does not work, but they have no
solution. I also talked to muvee and they say they only support USB and
Firewire input with the new version. I can't believe they released it with
no notification that these ports ( composite, S-Video, and the audio ports )
are unusable.

Does anyone know how to make these input sources work short of buying an
external converter.

Thanks
Steve
