Vista MCE doesn't see video and picture files
I'm running a week old install of Vista Ultimate 32bit. MCE worked fine in
the beginning, but earlier this week MCE screwed up on me. When I add folders
to watch (containing pictures or videos) MCE does display the folders but
says they are empty.

The video files range from normal AVI to MPG. The picture files are normal
JPEG's. They show up fine in Explorer and play without a problem in WMP.
I also noticed that video-thumbnails in Explorer aren't working either
anymore, maybe it's related

this happened to me with vista photo gallery. I can't see the pictures
folder
and that's the default! I can see them in MCE, however.
