Can't start a photo in photo-gallery

Hi at all,

a problem with vista..! All other things are wonderful :-)

If i want to start one photo with the gallery, there happens nothing..!

The programm say: not enough memory!

But I have a dual core 2 with 1 gb ram... when i stopp aero and go to the
old look of win 98 for example, it doesn't help, too..! :-( the index of my
computer is 4.8

Is it possible to re- and install new, only the photo-gallery?

Or do you have another tip for me?? Please help. Thanks,
