Image Resizer PowerToy
Anyone know if MS is going to release a new version of the Image Resizer
PowerToy for Vista. I love this tool and would very much like to see
support for it! =) ~Tim

It amazes me that Vista doesn't already include such an obvious feature.
even the Photo Gallery allows you to do all sorts of adjustments except
re-size. With Vista being supposedly so oriented to media and graphics, and
user experience you would expect such an obvious requirement to be met by
the operating system.

Works in Vista just fine.

http://www.vso-software.fr/products/...ge_resizer.php

The VSO free image resize software organizes your photos by shrinking their resolution or
moving them within your hard drive. VSO Image resizer is the perfect tool for those who store
their digital pictures and images on their PC and who want to resize, compress, convert, create
copies, create thumbnails, import or organize photos.

With this free resize image software, you can create e-mail friendly versions of your images,
load them faster, move them easily from folder to folder, change their format, edit large
numbers of image files/batch image resize and thus save space on your hard drive. Using high
resolution 1600x1200 for creating wallpaper or file-sharing you can save your memory. VSO Image
Resizer can also change file names using a template and you can add your own watermark with
transparency support.
VSO Image resizer is integrated into the Windows explorer shell, right click on your pictures
and start working on your pictures !

Yah I totally agree. I would have thought this would be something just
simply included. It's almost one of those things you can't live without in
this day and age. I'd imagine on the 29th/30th we'll all of a sudden see a
bunch of downloads available. You don't realize how much you miss something
till it's gone!

Re: Image Resizer PowerToy
I dont understand Microsoft... do the programmers/designers 'accidentally'
forget to put in features? I mean it's pretty obvious... its not something
hard to come up with. Even my 12 year old brother asked me if Vista had the
Resizing tool i had on XP, since he uses Myspace and resizes pics to post...

I guess they're too busy and stuff accidentally gets forgotten?...
