No sound

could someone help me... i cant hear anything when i play music
the driver is installed, i deinstalated it and reinstalated it
without succes
pleas help

What Vista do you have? I have got VISTA RC 2 5744 and I have got sometimes
the same problem. Try to do:
1. click on the icon of sound on the bar
2. choose playback devices
2. click speakers and cofigure
4. select the speakers and run test. If no sound choose another audio chanel
and test. If you will hear the sound close
5. click properties
6. in general properties again
7. click change settings and ok This time you ought to hear music.
