Making DVD's
I am trying to determine the best way &/or software to use to create DVD's.
I have a media center PC, currently running XP with MCE but will be upgrading
to Vista Ultimate Ed soon. I'm looking for the best way to create DVDs as
noted below.
1. I would like to burn programs recorded through media center on to DVD,
preferably through media center. I'm assuming movie maker would function
fine for this & works in media center.
2. Slightly more complex, burn recorded TV shows to DVD, but be able to
delete commercials, credits, etc.
3. Import video from video camera, VHS tapes, etc & burn to DVD (ie.
wedding video, kids home videos, etc). More comments/questions related...
-Some of the imported video will not require editing in any way, but I may
want to be able to add menus/chapters
-Other imported video will require editing & I would incorporate
transitions, music, etc
-It is important that the final DVD can be played on stand alone DVD players.
Thanks in advance
