Sony Ericsson W850i usb drivers for memory stick

I am using vista rc1 quite successfully but just got a new phone and cannot
get vista to recognise the memory stick as a storage device using the
supplied cable and Sony software. memory stick works fine in a card reader.
Has anyone dsovered a work around
