DVD Maker and Movie Maker issues

Hi,

I'm running RC1. I'm having an issue where I can't burn WMV files with DVD
Maker or edit them with Movie Maker. I tried creating a WMV out from statig
JPG's and it worked fine, but could not burn it onto DVD using DVD Maker.

Whenever I try to burn the files with DVD Maker, I get a "class not
registered" error and when I try to edit them with Movie Maker it just
crashes and sends the error report to Microsoft, but no solution available
yet.

I just encountered the same problem with RC1... Sure hope the problem goes
away with the full version I get tomorrow. But searching the net I found this
work-round:

Hey Everyone,

If you set your system clock to before October 31st 2006, you will be able
to burn:

1. Right-Click the clock on the taks bar

2. Select Adjust Date/Time

3. Press the Change Date-Time button

4. Pick a date before October 31st 2006

If this doesn't work, then it is caused by some other computer problem.
Check your decoder and DVD burner.

Posting it here just n case it hasnt gone away in the RTM!

The MS MPEG2 decoder auto expiration on 11/13/2006 bug was unique to RC1
it was fixed in RC2 and the RTM release.
