Yeah, I bought myself a nice HP 'Pavilion' 'dv2000' back in March, here in Korea.
There were two things I wanted it for, in particular: using the built-in webcam, and for processing movie clips of my students so to upload to blogs where they could check their own progress.
Not only does the webcam not work for more than a minute at a time - and that is after having replaced the completely useless MS webcam drivers which worked for one minute, once only - and after having replaced them with Acer drivers, as seems to work perfectly for many others, as reported on other forums.
As for the WMM software... I've been through every hoop and done every trick i can find on any forum. Still useless. Dead in the water.
So, sorry no, I can't help; I can only commiserate, and ask: where is the nearest Mac shop?
....or, is it possible to entirely clean all this Microsoft b.s. out of my computer, and stack it with Linux software, including programs which will entirely process video clips?
