Windows DVD Maker menu & loop questions

I am using Windows DVD Maker for the first time. I am trying to make a
simple picture slideshow with music for a memorial service. Everything is
going well except..... my pictures cointinue in a loop after the slide show
is (should be) over, even though I do NOT have the "play video in a
continuous loop" selected. Also, I'm having issues with the "menu" - maybe I
don't understand what the menu is supposed to be. What I want is for the
title to be displayed on the first picture only, so I typed that in "disk
title", but it shows up on every picture. H-E-L-P!!!
