photos

since switching to Vista I can't figure out how to email pictures I've
downloaded from my camera

I am having the same problem with Vista.With XP attaching photos was easyYou
highlighted the picture clicked OK and it was attached.Vista makes it almost
impossible to attach or understand how to attach.

Assuming you're using an actual mail client (and not a web front end), right
click on an image and click Send To -> Mail Recipient. Or from Photo
Gallery there's an e-mail button you can press.

Both of those will open the default mail client with the image already
attached. Or you can drag the image into an open e-mail being composed
which works with most mail clients.

Go to the folder the picture is in. Double Click so it opens in Photo
Gallery. Click Email on the menu bar at top, select the size you want,
click on attach, wait and that should spawn your email client. If you
haven't set one up in Vista you need to do that. Vista should ask and
walk your through it. Unless you changed it Vista assumes you have
and/or want to use Windows cheesy email features. I wouldn't touch
that with a ten foot pole.
