Media Player 11

Hello
I have Vista Basic and I need to know how to tell what Media Pleyer I am
running in my system.There is no about tab when I open the media player up. I
also want to know how to play DVD's in Vista basi? Any help would be
appreciated.

Vista comes with WMP11. Right click on the toolbar - go to help / about - you
will see the version number and the build number you have. eg 11.1234
