Videos Won't Play In ITUNES

I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 with Vista Home Premium. Graphics card/driver
is NVIDIA. I have latest version of iTunes (7.4.3?). I am not good with
computers, nor do I understand them very well. I am able to download videos,
but they freeze up when I try to play them. The sound plays fine during
videos. Can someone help me figure this out? I have heard that they (Vista
and iTunes) are supposed to be compatible now.

ITUNES i despise, takes about 10 minutes to load up on a bran new machine,
and is in gener poorly designed,layed out, and awkward to use. nuff said, and
u have a HP Pavillion, 2 thing i hate lol, had nothing but trouble with a HP
Pavillion i use to own.

The same thing happens to me. More scary is that trying to play videos in
iTunes not only crashed my computer repeatedly but also caused a supposed
RAID volume failure in both of my RAID volumes, even though my hard disk
appears to be fine after doing extended self-tests with tech support from HP.
I am mystified, myself.
