Windows Media Player

I have windows Home Vista Premium preinstalled on my computer. Windows Media
Player has worked fine for months. Now suddenly I get a message that says
"the file wmploc.dll has a version of 11.0.600.6336 where 11.0.6000.6324 was
expected.--windows media Player is not installed properly and must be
reinstalled. "I have tried installing widows media Player 11 from the
microsoft page but this was unsuccessful.Does anyone have any suggestions for
tackling this problem?Assistance would be appreciated.
