Song titles in Media Player

I know this is going to have a really simple answer but I can't find it.
When I put a CD into Media Player it used to find the CD and song titles but
it doesn't any more. It can't be the CD because I put back in one I know it
worked on before. It's quite frustrating because I'm trying to copy all my
CDs to my new PC. I assume I've somehow changed a seting but I don't know
which.

Control Panel (Classic view) > AutoPlay? And Control Panel (Classic view) >
Default Programs, highlight Windows Media Player and press the upper green arrow
to make sure Windows Media Player has all its defaults.

I don't think so - I just tried to reset the defaults but it's still saying
unknown artist
