Multiple Audio Outputs in Vista!
Ok folks, can't seem to get a straight answer on this. I have a USB 7.1 Sound
Card for my gaming headset, as well as a Creative Fatal1ty sound card for
movies, Loud gaming, etc. So my question to you guys is thus:
In XP, I could set voice out, voice in, sound out, midi out, Synth Out...
but in Vista I cannot seem to do this. Before, I'd have Media Player play
music (synth/midi) through my speakers which are hooked into a sound card,
and my game soudns (Sound out) through my USB drive. Now, I have to select a
default device, and cannot pick in the application, or out of it, which
device to output to, or even to have it output to both at once. Anyone know
how to set this up in Vista? I'm getting really sick of having to set default
to my Fatal1ty for Media Player, and back to my Icemat for gaming depending
on the situation.
