windows media centre

Hello,

Is it me, or is Windows Media Centre a Nightmare ?

All I want to do is play a .mov video file I downloaded, then burn it to a
dvd. When I click on its icon, Media Centre opens and I am instantly lost. I
don't think I have ever met such a useless interface.

I assume I am going to have to downlod a manual to understand it, any
suggestions please ?

WMC works fine if you follow its rules. It plays my music files, DVDs and
..wmv clips just fine. WMC has a lot of potential. You just have to read the
instructions and play with it. WMC is actually a nice feature. It's not a
necessary feature, but nice, especially for those who want to get involved
with TV on the computer.

Play around with it and have fun.
