WMP errors DVD

I get an odd message when I plug in DVD..."disc prohibits playback in your
region of the world......." The best part was that it was a new DVD, Latin
Dance..but I got the same error with a tried and true video. It freaked me
out the first time! When I try other programs it just sits in the player and
spins. Anyone else had this issue? Any answers?
