Seeking Help for Windows Media Player 11 "bug" under Vista.
I am looking for a solution to the added black bar at the bottom in normal
video size mode of Windows Media Player 11 under Vista Premium.
I want to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 under Vista (which I don't
believe is possible), reinstall it (which Microsoft does not have the option
to do on their website), or locate the bug fix (if one even exists). I have a
screen shot of the window size (JPG in MS-Paint) but the option to upload it
to this discussion is not available.
Basically Windows Media Player opens a blank window in 320 240 video size
normally. However, with this "bug" it adds about approximately 150 pixels of
"black space [or a black bar] to the bottom of the window while the video
plays.
Videos play fine in full screen mode.
I just bought my Toshiba laptop in May. Never used MS Tech Support. They
don't recognize my product ID on-line for help. This sucks. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
