windos media player shutting down

I have got my movie ready to be published click on publish and click ok for
it to start. The message flashes "movie maker has stoped working finding the
problem" then it says " another user is using the program log off and try
again" but im the only user on my computer. ive tried changing the files
moving the stuff around but still it happens. IJUST WANT IT TO WORK AND IN XP
THIS NEVER HAPPEND!!!!!
please help me i nee d to finish this for a course.
