Saving Images, etc.

I have had my computer for several months and have saved pictures I have
found on the web and from email. Now when I right click and select save
picture as, it comes up to save as Art or Bitmap.....I select Art as I always
have. Then when I go to open the picture in my folder and it says Windows
cannot open this file...I am so confused....Can anyone help me?

I finally found an old post that had instructions that solved my problem....
I am sorry I posted a repeated question.
