No option for mail notification in sounds option

I have checked the box in Micro. mail, but when I went to the sounds option
folder, no option was listed for mail. It had default with select and show
toolbar band. Tht other options are under explorer; pop-ups, complete
navigation, feed discovered, information bar, move menu, search provider
discovered and start navigation. It used to have it? Any suggestions?

On my Vista Home Premium the sound used is under
Windows
New Mail Notification

Thanks Michael, unfortunately I only have the 2 options that I had listed.
There is no "Windows" listed in sounds.

Windows should be the first main division in the Sounds selection list,
and has the most sound events (Default Beep, Minimize, Exit Windows,
etc.)
If you don't have that, there is some basic non-mail Windows problem.
Perhaps one of the other Vista forums will be better able to assist you
with this.
