RE: not able to send email but recieving ok
I was having the same problem but found that turning off the mail scan
portion of my virus protection (Panda Internet Security 2007) has remedied
the problem and I am able to send and receive email using Windows Mail
without any issues. I don't think you would need it anyway. Also, some
people appear to have success setting their SMTP port server to 587. Make
sure that the POP3 port server is set to 110 and none of the SSL boxes are
checked.

Hi Kelly,
Contact you ISP or Email provider by calling or visiting their website
for your server and other email setup information. Make them walk you
through it. That's what you are paying them for.

Re: not able to send email but recieving ok
Did you mean to say you are experiencing this problem with Outlook
only, or also with Outlook in addition to Windows Mail?
Outlook problems should be referred to the Outlook newsgroup.
I will be glad to look at and try to resolve any Windows Mail error
message you can post here.
