Can't Logon to Windows Mail

Can't Logon to Windows Mail
I have used WM on laptop with Vista for a month. This week I have been
unable to logon and receive this message:
Account: 'mail.hughes.net', Server: 'mail.hughes.net', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] invalid user or password', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

No settings have been changed since it worked previously. I can access mail
by going directly to hughesnet site and use the same name and password.

It seems to be a HughesNet problem. We had a similar complaint here
earlier today, and quite a few are complaining in the satellite forum:

Maybe you can help me. How does one get windows mail to work with HughesNet
satellite service? I could sure use some simple and concrete suggestions and

You might check with them to verify the POP3 server is working. Also see
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

You can also set up another copy of the account and see if that works.
