Slow opening attachments.

Attachments open really slow and lock up my computer in Windows Mail until
they finally display. Does any one have a fix?

Two suggestions:
If you are running McAfee or Norton antivirus, uninstall it.

Secondly, try the fix for slowness:

Try clearing your Temporary Internet Files in IE and also turn off email
scanning if its enabled (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3)

I tried this but it didn't help! I had to remove Norton AV. Thanks for your
help anywy!

A Notron trial version was on this laptop when we bought it but I didn't
activate it.. so I didn't think it would get in the way but it did. Thanks
for the help..
