Re: Cannot receive mail Windows Mail n Vista
Firstly I get the Windows Security pop up asking for user name & password, it
does not accept what i have set up in Windows Mail.
The Error message in the dialogue box is
Account: 'Michael Meur laptop', Server: 'pop.sky.com', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR Invalid command.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC91

Any help on this wold be welcome

Re: Cannot receive mail Windows Mail n Vista
Thanks for including the complete error message.
Go into the properties of that account, Servers tab, and make sure
you have not selected "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".

If that was set correctly, make sure you are not running one of the non-
compatible antivirus programs, McAfee or Norton.
