slow performance creating and sending e-mail with windows mail

Each time I have to send an e-mail it takes for ever to open up the window
where to right the text. Also it take a while once I hit the send button? Any
suggestion to speed up or increase performance?

Thank you for this posting to this problem. I also was having this problem
for month and thought I had to live with it. I am so glade I decided to click
on help in the window mail. I follow every step and now my email is working
the way it did when I first bought this laptop. Thanks again, for without
this answer I might have had to live with a very slow email program.
