Windows Live Hotmail Plus

I use Windows Vista Mail with my Gmail account and its working.
But to I can't use my Hotmail account, because I haven't gotten Windows Live
Hotmail "Plus".
I'd like to know if I'll have any advantage to Gmail, besides the size.
Something like synchronize my Windows Live Hotmail with Windows Vista
Contacts or my Windows Live Hotmail calendar with Windows Vista Calendar.

If you get Windows Live Mail you will be able to access both
Hotmail and Gmail with one mail program, plus it will sync with
your Hotmail contacts.
