hot sync with windows contacts / calendar

I am using windows vista and would like to sync my Palm Tungsten E with
windows contacts and calendar (not microsoft outlook).....I am not able to
find support from micorsoft or palm...any ideas?

As far as I know, it can't be done. Only Outlook officially supports
syncing capability.

I just use goosync and then have windows calendar also use google mail.
