import contacts from outlook 2003 into Mail

I tried so very hard to import my contacts from Outlook 2003 into Windows
Mail, but I failed. The messages I imported without a problem, but the
contact....... Who has the solution?

export the contacts as CSV.
you can then import the CSV into WM.
or install outlook into vista.
