Problems setting up Windows Mail

I've just got a laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium and have tried setting
up my Tiscali email account through Windows Mail to no avail - I cannot send
or receive mail.

My wireless internet connection is working fine; I've checked my account
settings (Tiscali mail server is a POP3 server; Incoming mail:
pop.tiscali.co.uk; Outgoing mail: smtp.tiscali.co.uk)

What am I doing wrong?

Are you using your full email name & password to login? Any error messages?

I used to have the same type of problem, you may have to use your email
company's premium service in order to use "pop" mailing (the one they charge
money for). I just recently found that out because I tried to use my yahoo
mail account with it and it wouldn't let me sign in.

Thanks Dave - I've got it working now!
The problem was that Tiscali's help pages had Windows Mail listed as Vista
Mail so I had been following the wrong instructions.
