deleting inbox email

I can't delete inbox email with sender unspecified and won't display message,
error.....how do I get it out of my inbox? Won't go anywhere.......please
help, thanks

Unfortunately this will keep happening with the current edition
of Windows Mail. Your best bet is to switch to WLM:

Woeisme,

I and several other people have had the same problem. Go to

www.oehelp.com/wmutil

and download Steve Cochran's utility. Use the utility (after unzipping) and
compact your e-mail and the problem will go away. It did for me. Then
compact your e-mail each time the dialog box appears asking if you want to
compact your e-mail.

I have corrected you many times that the tool from Steve Cochran DOES NOT work with the issue of stuck emails in the Inbox.
Kindly please take a note of this. This tool is designed to work with the stuck emails in the Outbox of Windows Mail

Hi russcell,

If your have a stuck message, then this will show you how fix the stuck
undeletable email message problem.

Installing the KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You
must stop the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the section
titled "FIRST" in this tutorial about antivirus and anti-spyware/adware
programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the
KB941090 Microsoft Update in the section titled "SECOND" to fix and be
able to delete the stuck message from the problem folder.
