e-mail keeps against deleting or moving

I have one message in my inbox which I want to delete because is just spam.
But when I try to delete it, a dialog box appears saying "Unknown error". The
same if I try to move to another folder or if I check it as spam mail.

What happens in my Windows Mail?

Believe it or not, your Windows Mail is behaving in a very normal
fashion for Windows Mail.
Try Windows Live Mail instead.

I have a similar problem, I haven't been able to empty my "trashbox" in
Windows Mail for the last two days. Until a while ago I was able to erase
them one by one but now I get the message saying "Unknown error".
