Import OE6 Messages into Vista Mail
Try as I might, I cannot import my old OE6 messages into Vista Mail.

When get to the point of selecting the folder where the messages are located
(ie a collection of *.dbx files) I just get a message saying "No Items Match
Your Search".

Help!!!

RE: Import OE6 Messages into Vista Mail
This was killing me for days till John posted the hint in this list (about 6
threads down from here, currently), that let me solve this problem.
- Go back to where you got the 'No Items Match Your Search".
- Click in the location text box at the top, in the emply space after the
last folder name in the path. This will revert the path to the pathspec
format of old, starting with "C:\..." whatever, and it should all be
highlighted.
- Copy it to the text box at the bottom of the dialog box labeled "Folder"
over top of what's there, which is the current folder, but without the rest
of the path.
- Now that the whole path is in there, click the "Select Folder" button,
which takes you back to the "Location of Messages" dialog box, but now the
path is there. I assume if you knew it off the top of your head, you could
have typed in there in the first place.
- Click the "Next >" button. You will be at the dialog box where you can
multi-select the folders you want to import, or click on the "All Folders"
radio button, then click "Next >".
The import should begin.
