Windows mail doesn't receive mails on startup

I have the setting checked but Windows mail does not receive mail on
startup. It will only check for mail when I click on the send/receive
button.

Any help would be appreciated...Lorraine

It may be a bug, since several others have reported this same
issue. I don't have my system configured to check mail at
startup because it takes time to wake up my Internet connection.
