The Spam Killer is zapping my messages. Please help!

The Spam Killer is destroying my messages, unless they are being stored
somewhere where I can't get to them. Several of them are very important! What
can I do? Is it necessary or can I reinstall Windows Mail? I'm thinking
that's my only option other than just deleting it altogether and using some
other mail source.

What Spam Killer? Do you mean the Junk E-mail filter that comes
with Windows Mail? If so, you can turn it off: Tools, Junk E-mail Options.

Do you mean McAfee's Spam Killer?
Uninstall McAfee; it is not compatible with Windows Mail.
I'm using Avast (free).

Antispam software is incompatible with WinMail. Uninstall it.
