Windows Mail error messages won't quit.
After having one message that couldn't be sent, resulting in an error
message, I have sent and received many messages. My Windows Mail is working
fine. But I keep getting the same two messages from the original incident -
The error message plus the message that "I have unsent messages in my outbox.
Do you want to send now?"
Since this is the Email that caused the Error Message, I'm in a Star Trek
loop.-
How do I get out of it? These two messages occur at every move I make.
Thanks Wayne-

Re: Windows Mail error messages won't quit.
Thank both of you. As a novice I'm stuck again. I downloaded the WMUtil file
(actually I was expecting 2 as per download instructions) and don't know how
to run it.
It's a web address that returns me to the DL page. What am I missng? Thanks,
Wayne

Re: Windows Mail error messages won't quit.
Brink. Looked at that page. I only have the 1 file - WNUtil. Can't find the
sxout.
What is meant by extracting to another folder? And I don't have "Winmail" in
Task Manager.
Thanks, Wayne.

Brink. Hold off on a reply just yet. Found what I'm seeking in a Vista book.
About compressd folders and extraction. If I get stuck I'll be back. Thanks
again, Wayne

Re: Windows Mail error messages won't quit.
The wmutil.zip file has two files in it. Unzip those two files to the
desktop. Then click on the wmutil.exe file to run the program.

Re: Windows Mail error messages won't quit.
Steve, Only one file downloaded - "WMUtil". I can't find the "scxout",
which I believe I should have. I deleted and tried a few times with the same
luck.
One thing - when downloading, "open" caused my window to start flashing
and I had no option but to shut down and restart. The same thing happened
when I tried to download an icon from "How to Geek". I had to choose "save".
In simple terms - How do I accomplish my aim? The website you gave was
vague.
I have some good Vista books. What should I look under?
Incidently, I was able to delete my outbox message ( that started this
mess), but the Error msg persists. Thanks, Wayne
