I would like to ask that an MVP weigh in on Gary's constant advice to remove
Norton. Norton is one of the most popular (and possibly the biggest)
antivirus program in the world and I wonder why he thinks that will cure all
evils. Is it true? Is Norton not useable with Vista?
I don't use Norton on my Vista machine (my wife uses it with no problems on
XP) so I don't know. But, if it is not compatible, or is problematic with
Vista then that fact should be widely broadcast. If it is a legitimate
product to use with Visa, then someone should say so.
So, I guess my quesiton is. ..... is anyone able to use Norton AV without
problems on Vista? Many of us would appreciate hearing from you so we can
get an idea about what the facts are.
Thanks,
Tom
