reply slow

how can i speed up opening up a reply or reply all-it is extremely slow? also
will i be able to go back to using outlook instead of windows mail soon?

We heard you first time Loren, some have reported that opening Windows
Calendar first reduces the time lags?

How much memory do you have on the machine? 2 Gig helps.

Trying to reply to an email, or even to open a new one, is excruciatingly
slow, up to a minute or more, and opening the calendar doesn't make a
difference. I have new Toshiba laptop. Before I pull what's left of my hair
out, can anyone help us? I also have this bizarre problem where my windows
keep minimizing while scrolling using the touch pad. I've only had this
laptop a couple of weeks and don't know why I'm having so many issues.

Hi LJ,

Windows Mail is the new version of Outlook Express for Vista. You can
go to the replacement for Windows Mail. It is called Windows Live Mail
Beta. Even though it is a beta, I had no problems with it yet. Here is
the link for it.

Sounds like there's a lot more wrong than just Windows Mail.
That laptop should still be under warranty. Take it back to the store
where you bought it and have their techs fix it for free.
