Operating system?
Make sure that IE7 is the default browser.
Vista: Control panel> Default programs.
XP: Control panel> Add or remove programs> Set program access and defaults.
Also, possibly a problem with a browser add-on.

You might try the Reset button in Internet Options> Advanced. Note that this
will delete stored (autocomplete) passwords. Do you have those recorded
elsewhere?
