laptop email and pc email
I'm sure this has already been asked, but I hope someone can help me. We
recently got a laptop, but plan to use our regular pc as well. Our pc has
Outlook and our laptop has windows vista mail. Is there anyway to have
access to my email on the pc from my laptop. WITHOUT using websites such as
web2mail.com, etc.?

Thanks!

Re: laptop email and pc email
Sure. Just set up your email account on the laptop using
Windows Mail, with the same settings as your other PC.
If you need more help with that, either check your ISP's
self-help web page, or tell us who your ISP is. If your
mail provider is different than your ISP, we would need to
know that also.

If both computers need to download from the same mail
account, then you will have to configure both to leave mail
on the server. If you don't do that, the first computer to
download a given email will remove it from the server
and thereby makes that email inaccessible to the other
computer.

Sure, in both email programs set the option to leave the mail on the
server. There's a setting to automatically delete after "X" number of
days or you can delete it manually by logging onto your mail server's
web interface. If you choose the latter, make sure you remember to
delete the mail after a while or your mailbox will fill up.
