Screen Saver

Please can any one tell me how to get the screen saver to work, It did work
when I first got the new computer a couple pf months ago, now its stopped
working and nothing I do can get it going. Robin

Control Panel
Appearance and Personalization
Under Personalization click on Change screen saver

Select one........

The solution in my (same) case is not to use the usb connection but the plug
connection via an adapter of the mouse. I Hope it works also for you.

See if this applies.

The screen saver does not start after you install a wireless pointing device:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913405

The update "Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter" available under "Optional Hardware Update" in WU site is ought to fix the screensaver problem.
