And in the UK, at least, the Vista technical support (phone)
is second to none. Try getting help from British Gas!

Thank you! It worked. Is this going to keep happening - is it something to do
with my anti-virus settings?

Re: Outbox do not send messages
Its not clear what is causing this to happen. Turn off email scanning at
the very least and if you have McAfee or Norton, get rid of them.

Re: Outbox do not send messages
I'm having the same problem and I've tried the website below and the two
folders I get are:
WMUtil and Scxout.dll
I do not get a clear outbox option. Do I need to do something else? I have
spend soo much time reading these posts and trying so much, nothing seems to
work.
Thank you!!!!!!1

Did you read the Program Operation notes at http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/

In particular: 'If Windows Mail is open or if a current WinMail.exe process is running, the Database functions are disabled, and
they (the WinMail processes) must be terminated before these features are available. (If WinMail is closed and these buttons still
remain disabled, then perform and CTRL-SHIFT-ESC and under Processes find WinMail.exe and click on it, and then click the End
Process button.) "

Re: Outbox do not send messages
Yes, I've found the clean outbox box and when I click on it, I get a message
that states "unable to access database" System.dllNotFound Exception:unable
to load DLL Scxout.dll. There is also more to the message? Have you ran
across this before? I did the Cntrl shift esc and it doesn't show WinMail
running.

Re: Outbox do not send messages
The author updated the WMUtil program sometime around 5/4/07.
If you're not sure you have the latest version, delete what you
have and download again.
Also, when checking Task Manager for any running WinMail.exe,
make sure you're on the Processes tab.

Re: Outbox do not send messages
I deleted the previous downloads and tried again and I still get the same
message. I went into Processes on Task Manager as well and ended all WinMail
as well. Any other ideas? Thank you

Re: Outbox do not send messages
We'll probably have to wait for the program's author, Steve Cochran, to
provide further advice. Meantime, make sure that both unzipped files,
WMUtil.exe and scxout.dll, are in the same folder, and that folder is
someplace where you have rights to it.
