Can't open .XLS or .DOC files from within Windows Mail
I couldn't open .TIF files until I associated it with the Windows Gallery
viewer. That's cool. It lets my users view fax attachments from within
Windows Mail.

I have also associated .XLS and .DOC to openoffice 2.2 These files do open
properly from within Vista. However, Windows Mail argues that there is no
associated program to open the attachments. We must save to Desktop and
open from there. Everything is correct the the Control Panel|Default
Programs lists.

An .ODS file opens up fine from within Window Mail. I wonder why? Since
the Windows Mail security option to allow of opening attachments is enabled,
what is Windows Mail's malfunction?
