Re: out of office reply
be very careful in setting this up.
you can get in a loop with reply to a reply to a reply.
if you are going to gone for an extended period, might ask you ISP what they can do to help.

You don't. And, it is a good thing. Out of office messages and
autoresponders are the worst thing ever created for email. Every mail
list you belong to would get useless out of office messages. Every
person whose email address was forged by a spammer would be spammed by
those infernal messages.

Re: out of office reply
In today's climate, if you do that, you are likely to get blacklisted by
anti-spam organizations. When the auto-responder replies to incoming
spam, the forged address likely belongs to an innocent victim who may report you.

Did you learn how to do it? In Microsoft Outlook there is an item under
Tools. No such thing in Windows Mail. As usual Help was no help.

Re: out of office reply
Unless you are in an Exchange environment, out-of-office replies are not recommended
due to spam considerations.

Re: out of office reply

Does anyone know if it IS POSSIBLE to send an out of office reply, as many
people reading this forum are not from America and have not yet gotten to the
point where they are blacklisted from mailing account with this being
considered spam, so in my case it WOULD still be helpful

Yes.

It's a bad idea, though. Better to see if your ISP offers such a service.
